STACY’S TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
Present faculty includes Fanshaw College and Theatre Aquarius Theatre School where she teaches adult and youth acting classes.
Stacy has taught for over 5 years at Dimensions in Dance in KW where she co-created the Triple Threat Program and the successful Get Connected Program. She facilitates the drama portion of the summer Youth Program with Huron Waves Festival. Stacy created the workshops “Mindfulness and Improv” and “The Kale Show’ with The Foundation For Education. Other teaching experience includes Playmakers Theatre School, The Stratford Festival, Neptune Theatre School (teaching the pre-professional training program) and Dalhousie University. She has also taught workshops at St. Clair College and “The Art of Presentations” through McMaster University!
Stacy has been a professional actor for over 20 years, working in theatres throughout the country and also has worked extensively in television and on film, with recurring roles on TV in “Rookie Blue” as Zoe Shaw and Sex &Violence starring Olympia Dukakis. She was nominated for a Genie award for her work in the film New Waterford Girl. Other select film/tv credits include: Frankie Drake Mysteries, The Handmaids Tale, Designated Survivor, Murdoch Mysteries, The Detail, Sebastian, Flight of The Butterflies, Blackbird, Jessie Stone, Robson Arms, Relative Chaos, Blessed Stranger, Single Mom, Marion Bridge, Wake, and Running Into Edna. Stacy is also very grateful for all the wonderful projects she worked on while residing in Nova Scotia, such as Marion Bridge, Blackbird, Jesse Stone, Relative Chaos, Running into Edna, Wake, Trudeau, October 1970, Robson Arms, Heart of a Stranger, A Town Without Christmas, Single Mom, Blessed Stranger: After Flight 111, the Daily Blade and more. Theatre experience inlcudes working in theatres across Canada such as Drayton Entertainment, Theatre Aquarius, Neptune Theatre, Eastern Front, Mulgrave Road, Ships Company, Theatre New Brunswick, Atlantic Theatre Festival, Luna Sea and Off The Leash, and Mermaid Theatre.
